I try to look for real photos of the insoles and soles, not only the outside of the shoe. In the end it is all about finding what matches your own habits and lifestyle. If the first order goes well, I slowly try more products from the same place. In the end there is no perfect shop, but some stores are clearly more consistent. Sharing real world usage stories is often more helpful than any advertisement. Online shopping will always have a bit of risk, but experience makes it easier.
If anyone is interested in real user experiences, I sometimes write short notes about the shops I test.

If the first order is a disaster, I prefer to move on and not waste time with support. Sometimes I experiment with different materials just to see how they feel in daily life. Metal can feel more premium, but acetate can be more comfortable for long wear. I think this is one of the few real advantages we have compared to shopping blindly.
Just sharing my personal feedback. |
